They get 14,000 at home we get 6,000. They are a bigger town with more people living there. Of course they should have a larger following, so what? My Dad's bigger than your Dad, nur nur!

*Pedant alert*

According to wiki, the Population of Swindon is 155,432 and the population of Huddersfield is 146,234 (although this was the 2001 census). I would argue that the population of the 2 Towns are similar.

I don't think we can argue that numerically, their support is probably better than ours. However we are above them in the table which is all that matters!

Don't forget they had £100 season tickets last year. That would have brought a few in.

Swindon probably has a bigger population than Hudds but they have other places in easy reach that have a football club. Swindon's catchment area is pretty good, but there are too many prem fans  Sad

Given the number of houses popping up in Priory Vale, literally on a daily basis, it must be. I am sure I read or heard somewhere that when complete, priory vale will have the same population as bath...

Footnote: and it seems all 80,000 of them are driving either towards Cheney manor ind estate or through west swindon towards the M4 about 8am every morning.
