That is excellent news. It won't stop the nationals linking with with
moves away though. They long departed a fact-based reality.

Apparently we are also after Matt Ritchie of Pompey (ands Notts County) - a proper cash bid.

Probably because he'll be 23 when it expires and if he leaves us at the end of the contract, we'll be entitled to a fee still, whilst if he signed a 3 year deal he would be 24, and if he then left at the end of it we would get nothing.
