GAME ON! http://www.swindontownfc.co.uk/page/NewsDetail/0,,10341~1933894,00.htmlAfter a Herculean pitch-clearing effort from Swindon Town staff, youth team and supporters, tomorrow's match against Gillingham will now go ahead.
Referee Steve Tanner recently completed a pitch inspection, and passed The County Ground surface fit to play.
Over 100 people, including pupils from Marlborough College, removed over three inches of snow from the pitch within seven hours which, combined with a rise in temperatures, has allowed the match to be played.
Town will be hoping to avenge their 5-0 drubbing at the hands of The Gills on the opening day of the season, and have new striker Vincent Pericard available for selection.
Tickets are priced from just £16 for the match and can be purchased at The County Ground before the match tomorrow.
