IF the result stayed the same Benitez would blame the penalty decision, the injuries to Gerrard and Torres and the planets not aligning in the correct formation.

I think this game highlights how royally fucked Liverpool are if they don't make the CL- take Gerrard and Torres out and they're average at best. I don't think it's a huge leap of faith to say they could be the next Leeds, what with the Americans still fighting- nobody will buy the club unless they can buy them both out.
