Pericard did look a bit of a battering ram type when we played them, cant really say he stood out though, might be a late bloomer like The Chief though, very similar in style.

It only says that they have made an enquiry about him. Until we get a signature I wont get excited.

Although it feels good to have all this rumour and anticipation!

Nine clubs in seven years, he's nearly as good as big Trev Benjamin.

That said, in his first season for Pompey in the Championship he was immense before his injury but he's never appeared to anywhere settle since.

No chance, he'll want more money than we're offering.

If Wilson has come out openly talking about trying to sign him after all the other cock-ups when players names have been leaked then I will take this as a 'Red Herring' - they are moving for someone else and this is a false trail.

Was thinking this earlier. Strange that Wilson (actually it may have been Fitton) said we don't like to reveal our targets before they have signed after the Robinson saga. Strange that 2 names have come out of Wilson's mouth this week.

He's good on Footy Manager...  Sorry someone had to say it!

John Spicer would be an excellent signing.  It's nice to be linked with these kind of players, seems we're going up in the world...

I suppose until it's signed there is no point getting too excited but this definitely sounds better than hutchinson and Revell.

spicer would be an excellent signing, pericard would give us more options and presumably will be cheap

both would add to the team and i'd be happy

The Carlisle fans don't seem to keen on Pericard leaving them.

He met with AF at the Madjeski Stadium last night, why there I don't know!  Agreed personal terms, just a medical to pass.

Maybe he thinks he's signing for Reading
