But what was he earning at Poole Town, a couple of hundred a week tops I'd have thought. He wasn't playing just for fun, he was playing in the hope of being spotted by a League club to get his career going again.

He is only getting 300 a week at Swindon so I can not imagine he was getting more than £50 a game at Poole

It is if your grandfather is a millionaire, spoke with a relative of his and he is getting £300 a week plus appearance and goal bonuses although a new deal is being negotiated the lad is just glad to be given a chance and he has certainly taken it.

I think Fitton described said goal bonuses as "considerable" on the Radio though, so I doubt he's going hungry.

I believe Cox had a similar deal where he wasn't one of out top earners on basic salary but once he'd scored a hatful of goals he came out on top.

Behave, if he was a bit-part builder/labourer I doubt he'd be getting much more, if any.

they get about £100 a day.add that to his part time football wages and he'd have be on a fair wedge of money a week.
