Started snowing in Melksham as I was visiting my grandmother, so didn't even bother trying to get back to Bath. Sadly I think I'll be able to make it in to work Hmmm... .

Bollocks. Supposed to be seeing Billy Connolly at the Hammersmith Apollo tonight too.

Hammersmith will be fine, no problems - its mainly the west, southern home counties in trouble today. They expect it to turn to sleet/rain by mid afternoon.
Roughly 1'' of snow here in Berkshire and still falling (very fine snow) roads passable, down towards Fleet/Hartley very different picture took my neighbour 2 hours to cover 2 miles earlier this morning, but once into Arborfield and towards Wokingham no problems.

Oh dear, what time was that?

The A332 is about two miles east of Wokingham and four miles east of the Arborfield Road coming into Wokingham, are you talking about the Coppid Beach Roundabout area?
Saw this report on the AA finder.

A322 Bagshot Road Bracknell
both ways between B3430 New Forest Ride and A332 Swinley Road  open affecting all driving lanes
A322 Berkshire - Bagshot Road partially blocked both ways due to ice, accident and snow between Coral Reef Roundabout and A332 Swinley Road , in Bracknell

Is that the same Coral Reef Roundabout as the Coral Reef swimming place? I bloody loved going there when I was a kid. There will be some disappointed swimmers today.

Feeling a little foolish this morning after chancing taking the car out this morning to take eldest child to childminder.  Turned back after 30 mins and then had to be pushed out of a snowdrift when turning in to our road.  Made it to the station at 9am and have just got to work.  Great morning.  Not at all surprised to hear of the problems up the road in Wokingham.
