He's now severed all ties with the club, so won't be coming back.
He will have to if we dont release him January just to piss him off.

Nah, Grant Smith actually did the business for us

only in the last 6 months of his contract then expected to be top dog. Glad he fucked off.

Do you honestly think we won't keep him?

I wouldn't, but I'd be surprised if he goes back.

I think Revell might well go back.  The goals he has scored for us have been good ones, but there haven't been enough.

Crucially, we're on the fringes of the play off places.  That gives DW much more leverage with Mr Fitton than had we been, say, 14th, to argue for a significant investment in the squad in January.  As things stand, I doubt that Revell will be seen as the man who will fire us in to the play offs.  So unless he has a blinding December - and let's face it, he's not even making the starting XI right now - I think he will go, freeing up some of the wage bill for someone else.

I can't even see Revell coming off the bench tonight.  Hoping he'll start Paynter & Austin then bring Danny Ward on for last 20 mins.

Ward is a big strong player & holds the ball up well so he can do more & probably better than Revell does now

That wasnt all his fault though.

Andy King didnt play him, and when he did he played him mainly at left back and sometimes at left midfield.

Away at Bradford in January Hewlett and Turbo both went off injured in the first half an hour and King stumbled across putting Grant Smith in central midfield, he scored twice, we won 2-1 and the rest as they say is history.

Still a cunt but only performing for 6 months wasnt his fault.

Agreed if Revell was that good that Wilson would not have felt the need to get Ward in from Bolton for a month wth a view to the rest of the season, I'd be shocked if he stayed here.

there are ways to go and conduct yourself if it's ambition you've got. Coxy did it and is welcome back anytime. McCunt is a little shit who sulks cos he's not getting his own way so plays crap.
Coxy was being scouted long before his move yet still banged in his goals yet McCunt just struts around the place blatantly not wanting to be here. good riddance

Interesting that Lee Holmes has started a grand total of 11 games for Southampton since moving there summer 2008.

Probably won't ever happen, but I'd have him back.
