His unparalleled standing as the world's foremost sport celebrity has been greatly undermined, which is really the outcome.

Possibly, he will bounce most of the way back as a celebrity.  His next golf tournament will have an incredible viewing audience, some will want him to win, others will want to celebrate watching him falling on his arse.

Don't be facetious me old chap, you know what I mean. He's won over $100 million in golf prize money, he conducts a massive appearance fee at most golf events... all in he must be a billionaire, I think financial woes are probably the least of his problems.

He'll come back and win fucking everything.

Isn't he the richest sportsman or something?

He's the highest earning sportsman ever, he's either hit or about to hit $1b in career earnings (golf, endorsements, stud fees etc) which no one has done before. Not sure how much of it he's spent though - I doubt he's a billionaire.

Gillette are the first of his main sponsors that are backing away from him. They'll be phasing him out from their advertising and promotions, though they're not dropping him at this point - its only temporary while he sorts his shit out.

I still can't believe he's been so stupid. Nothing wrong with shagging around, but portraying a squeaky clean image and keeping his marriage going was just dumb.

Maybe just maybe it's because it could be lies.I find it very difficult to believe that it took his wife to find out he was having an affair for up to 14 different women come out and all of a sudden say they also had an affair.Stinks of nasty cunts blackmailing(no pun intended)

He's won 14 majors.

The National Enquirer started the ball rolling.

Quite possible, they get paid 5% to 15% of the players winnings.
