I got £60k too. I thought I would ask for more in the January window should I need it. In my previous game I didn't have much of a budget in the Championship because I think I spent more in my League One season.

not sure if it had any effect but my excess transfer budget was being used for wages, so i had £0 for my transfer budget when i asked just before deadline day.
i don't have sugar daddy enabled or anything either.
