I'd start him upfront with Kevin Amankwaah.

You know how I respect your footballing opinions, Dan.

For some reason I really think you might be serious about this...

If that's a joke about peacock, it's not very funny.

I wasn't actually joking. Sadly there's more chance of seeing Peacock than Stone Cold tomorrow.

Fuck it, if he's scoring goals. Thats more than our bloody strikers are doing!!!

Peacock, would have scored a couple the last 2 games and all.

Bump........
Saw him during the team warm down after the game today. He was totally knackered while all the other subs (even Peacock) looked fresh. He was paired with Morrison and couldn't keep up. I would say he's a good month from being anywhere near fit for playing more than 10 mins at the end of a game.

Today about 20 mins. Sprints from the half way line to goal line. Maybe 10 times.

I'd be dead after two so I suppose he's fitter than the average chump.

The teams fitness must be really high. I suppose he's gone from 1 day to 5 days training though.

For years many have grumbled about our teams fitness - or lack of it.  This season though we look a lot fitter.

I'd be OK if I could stop for a fag at the edge of the area on the way back

Well hes been playing twice a week while working as a builders labourer we can maybe forgive him for finding it abit knackering...but yes he will have to raise the bar now.

The optimistic way of looking at this is that he caught the eye of League One clubs despite not being very fit. It's easier to build up fitness than talent.

And he's off the mark in the Stiffs, heading in from 2 yards:
