Loved that game, I have been to St Marys twice and we won both games, 3-0 and the 1-0 from Austin when me and HerthaB went, the goal from Charlie was bloody brilliant. I don't remember us being particularly battered though I thought we played quite well that night.

And Rickie Lambert has only scored 30 Premier League goals in 3 seasons, he banged them in when in the Championship but not so much in the Prem.

The 3-0 one was weird.

A) Alan O'Brien looked OK..
B) Vincent Pericard scored two..

Was that the one that they wouldnt allow any cameras in to cover the match? I know it was a JPT game but remember little else about it, unlike the 1-0 win game.

EDIT. yes it was that game.

I wonder if QPR will pay the £60m fine to the FL for failing FFP.
I was just wondering this myself, now QPR have been relegated will the FL make them pay the £60m fine for failing the FFP or will they bottle it and take installments/negotiate it.....we will soon see.

They will not be allowed to play in the Championship if they do not pay

So what would happen if they don't play. Would Millwall get a reprieve or would both L1 playoff finalists get promoted? There's a precedent for this.....

FL are all talk, no doubt they have already worked out a fine and repayment schedule
Cannot see them booting QPR out the FL
Swindon yes QPR no

They changed the FFP rules recently, under which the QPR fine would have been a lot less. QPR will be arguing the rule change should in effect be backdated, good chance the FL will go with that as an easy out.

Didn't Matt Ritchie score that game?

I'm sure that was Obika & Grella's debut for us?

Slap on the wrist small fine and away you go - they have not got the balls to stand up to clubs that can afford hotshot lawyers

Mainly as I would be intrigued to know what went on in the marketing meeting to make them think it was an acceptable and good campaign.
I'm guessing you posted this in the wrong section. But I'm actually really hoping you didn't and that there's a good reason why this would be relevant to Charlie Austin's career trajectory that I've just overlooked Smiley
