What about OTJ vs a marrow? How would that pan out?

It all depends on context, OTJ would be useless in the village fete's vegetable competition

That's a bit harsh - granted he might not get a little silver cup, but I think he could do a job at some of the smaller fetes. Would need to bulk up for the big shows, like the West of England though.

Of course, but it also depends on the judging criteria. I know this may be an unpopular opinion, but for me he's just not green enough to compete with some of the more established marrows. He should stick to the minor tournaments to build up a bit of a reputation before heading straight for the big time.

As long as he doesn't get played out of position in the carrots/spring onions categories, that would be a backwards step for the lad

OTJ would be best suited for competing in the leek category, or controversially the laver category.

Douglas is better because nobody uses his initials instead of his surname.

OTJ, JPM, JPC...all a bit of a rubbish way to write their names.

Would have liked 'em both, obviously. I'd take Dougie though given the choice. This is based solely on my hair envy. Yes
