I'm expecting 10,000+ on Tuesday, given that some will have chosen that over the MK game, and that a few people will make an extra effort to go because its Saints. The main problem, as already stated, is a lack of people in the Town End. The DRS never makes any noise unless the TE starts it off. If we get some good performances on the pitch we can get the TE busy again and hopefully that will encourage atmosphere across the rest of the ground.

Don rodgers never start the noise themselves i must agree with, block one is full of young teens giving it all mouth to the away fans when in stratton bank which makes me laugh

would be good to get the TE like it was in 2006/07, it was pretty much buzzin every home game including the likes of Stockport, Grimsby, Franchise

My favourite in recent memory was the Mansfield game when we had the bank open for Town fans, throwing songs too and forth, i felt proud that day even though we didn't go up. On the Franchise i did like the way they started the "fuck off" song (what's it called?) with the little intro at the beginning.

It was good last night, my grandson - who has his first season ticket this year - went home and apparently told his mum it was fantastic, they were singing and shouting all match, although Daddy didn't! Roll Eyes

I see a couple of Saints fans are commenting about the lack of atmosphere from us last night and how the Town end is "tiny and pathetic". Obviously never visited the Dell then  Smiley

Apparently the 'just a small town in Portsmouth' wound them up a treat.

Actually said that to two guys in the car park who claimed that was the shittiest ground they had ever visited.  I asked them how long they had been supporting Saints, one guy just said long enough, I said either a short memory or a plastic fan 'cos the Dell was awful!

They didn't even bring a drum with them.

What kind of a League 1 side are they?

I hope they enjoy going to pikeyland with their long-term temporary stand.
