I have heard that he has been in discussion with Swindon Town board member Andrew Black. Could this be the striker from a bigger club that we don't know about?

Bert's exact role at the club is unknown, he operates very much in the shadows.

It is suspected by many that it is in fact he who is pulling the strings behind the scenes.
