Nice thing someone said on the radio earlier. Think it was a family member,Many will say cancer beat him but Bobby said he beat it 4-1

I recorded the Bobby Robson tribute programme on ITV4 and watched it last night.
It was the first time I'd watched the full game against West Germany, in Italia 90, for 19 years.
Still heartbreaking even now...

Cheers. I actually watched the tribute on BBC on Saturday. Well worth watching as AM says.

Ray Stubbs was walking around the memorial yesterday when I was there, I think whatever he was doing is on soon.

A very good man and a sad loss.
Favourite Sir Bobby anecdote:
Interviewer: So, Shola, do you have a nickname in the dressing room?
Ameobi: No.
Interviewer: So what does the manager usually call you?
Ameobi: Carl Cort.
