the office

No. As soon as I saw this thread I thought not that. Gervais has never regretted stopping it and I agree with him. It was just 2 series and a Christmas special of absolute unrivalled quality that changed comedy. Yeah sure, it could have still been really good for a couple more series and it would have been fun to see what it would have been like but its better to just leave it and say there was no drop in quality.

You can always watch the american office if you want more of something similar.

Agree with darkplace.

The Wire - it ended brilliantly but left you desperately wanting more
ER - although it had become a bit stale it was still miles ahead of most TV dramas

I'd have to go for classic kids tv programmes, you watched them for years and when you buy the dvd it turns out they only ever made 13 episodes;

- Trumpton
- Fingerbobs
- The Flumps
- Mr Benn

Spaced

Pretty certain Simon Pegg said they're not done with Spaced yet and there will be more at some point - most likely another series rather than a film. Think it was when Jonathan Ross interviewed him about Star Trek.
