Don't just think about it.  Make a large cuppa.  Go mad.  I'm having a hot cup right now, and its brilliant.  Just a thought though, does late night caffeine explain the insomnia?
Possibly - although I always used to drink tea before bed and never suffered. Everybody reacts differently!
I need to tidy the house tonight as I'm leaving in the morning to join my family on holiday. If they get back to a tip they won't be happy!

I don't normally have a problem with late tea.

Haven't had a cup for about 5 days. Jesus.

That's bad for you.  I need to drink at least 6 cups of tea a day. Today I hit 9, or 10.  Lost count.  Tea is better than any other consumable on this planet.

I'm normally a 5 or 6 cup a day person, but have been staying with a mate in bristol and he doesn't really drink it.

You can't trust people like that.

No you cannot.  I would review your mateship with this person immediately.  Anyone I know?

Having said that, my superior half does not drink tea either.  I like to make her a cup as well as myself and pretend I forgot - two cups for me.

Nah you don't know him.

I considered making myself two cups just now but didn't want to get greedy. Normally I'd use my giant mug which holds about a pint, but someone's poured something in it and put it in the fridge. Not on.

Pint mugs are the best.  Back in my uni days we held competitions to find the best recepticle to drink tea out of.  I think I won with a pyrex bowl that held four pints.  That cuppa lasted two hours.

No.  Someone who knows science could tell you why, but it cooled very slowly.  I presume its something to do with large volume and small surface area.

True story, I am not really a hot drinks person, much to the dismay of...well, almost everyone I know. My dad drinks a ridiculous amount of tea every day though. I guess it doesn't run in the family.

Although I generally agree I do think beer can have a little argument with tea about this.  they are clearly nos 1 and 2 in whatever order.
