I had to kill the biggest moth I've ever sseen the other day. I've still got him on my windowsill, I'll take a pic, and post it later if I can get on at home. Lepidopteracide is a particularly heinous crime....harmless, beautiful creatures useful in propagating other life forms.....bit like some birds. |

I had a moth which lived in my room for a couple of weeks. I named him jedi Fair play. When I was a kid.....you'd meet elderly relatives and spinsters of the parish who smelt of moth balls......which were made from napthalene....could never quite get my head round this, cos it stunk like :chunder: and was apparently necessary because moths ate up all your clothes unless poisoned. Some time in the 60's a realisation occured that moths don't actually eat all your clothes...so stinking like a pile of Swindon Services uncollected refuse sacks was unneccessary. I'd imagine Marie might start a retro napthelene fragrence. |
