Not seen it mentioned anywhere but apparently Kanuka did not sign his new contract by the deadline and did not turn up for pre-season training yesterday.
I assume he will be released now - or hold his registration until he can be bothered to advise the club of his decision

Meh, we have got Ifil, Morrison, Aljofree and Greer. Don't need another centre back and lets face it, if we rely on him in midfield we are struggling.

Agree totally Batch. He was never going to make it as a midfielder and wouldn't get near the team at centre back, more wages for more players.

Sounds a bit like Steve Adams to Torquay a few years ago.
Fair enough to Pat if he can get a longer contract, I'll be amazed if anyones given him more than a year though.
