One thing Invincibile didn't do enough of was score goals. I liked him as a player, but if that was him at his peak I doubt he'd be the answer to our problems.

If he could bottle his amazing ability to hide, the MOD camouflage division would be out of a job. Good player when he turned on. Didn't decided to do so often enough

Tend to agree, I don't think he'd be the answer, does not score enough run round a lot but not enough of an end product

Or as Kingy's motivation technique (tm) put it, Danny Invisible.

I'm amazed how well he did at Killie, and I have to say it says more about the quality of the SPL (League 1 apart from Rangers and Celtic).

I think the lower league game has moved on a bit in the last 10 years and players are expected to be a lot more skillful.

On the flip side, they are also a lot less determined and far far more mentally fragile than 10 years ago.

Along with a striker, Andrius Velicka! Kill 2 birds with one stone ... experienced centre back PLUS a striker.

Velicka was good at Hearts, good enough for Rangers to sign him. Picked up a few injuries but I wouldn't be unhappy if we were to sign him from what I saw from him at Tynecastle.

Thats a shame for him. He was class on his day but never managed to improve and cut out his costly mistake or two.

Jerel Ifil could have a club lined up.

Good luck to the guy.

Aberdeen fans hilariously dubbed him Jerel Awful. Pretty sure plenty on here did the same.

I'm pretty sure Andy King started that one.

But Aberdeen fans also compared him to Rio Ferdinand after a friendly at Hull. Must have been that tropical summer heat of Humberside melting their brains.

So in short they are mugs and only have themselves to blame.

Hope Jerel gets a club. Great guy.
