fair play, dont think anyone will top that, wasnt he a central midfielder?

Yup. Had a brother, Jeff, too, who also played for Man City I believe. No idea what happened to him since...

Edit: Wiki says he's still playing, at Northwich Victoria. Seems he fell quite a way in the latter part of his career.

Good to read that Jerel Ifil put in a Man of the Match perfomance against St. Mirren yesterday.

He's helped Aberdeen to 4 clean sheets in a row now.

Fair play to the Beast.

I could play in a back 4 with Mrs Goggins, Pob and Tinky Winky and keep a clean sheet against St Mirren though to be fair

Fairly Bob, I properly laughed at that!

The idea that Tinky Winky can defend to save his life is ridiculous at least  Cool

They quite like our ex-captain ( Eek) on their forum http://www.afc-chat.net/forums/index.php?showtopic=24843 though they appear to have noticed he can't pass much. We should have copyrighted "Beast".

Hopefully we get 50 grand or the like for him playing. Although as the old board did that deal, he'll probably have to play 500 games before we get a fiver.

It's Tozer who has to captain England for the final payment isn't it?

And getting absolutely battered. Posh hit the woodwork 4 times, all over them, should have been about 8-0 if they could finish consistently.

I used to enjoy watching Jon Gittens playing alongside Colin Calderwood. Interesting read on Wiki; I never did follow what he did after he left us to join Saints.

Jack Smith playing against us on Sat for Millwall, been doing quite well - didn't someone mention he was playing centre half for them ?

He played centre-back for the first game of the season, don't know about since then though.  Seems an odd move to me.
