Haha, "Cashley" can only get a gig where his former teammates are setting up shop.

I find it rather funny on top of that if Terry is appointed, it'll be a kick in the nuts for Rooney. Who like him or not has taken responsibility to be interim manager.

Derby keep throwing money at it and it's not working. Even if one year they managed to scramble up into the Prem again, the 100s of millions they've already chucked at it and the higher grade of contracts to survive there surely would already negate any potential windfall of getting to the "promised land". They'd be on a debt ridden, hiding to nothing.

I hope they get relegated (they'll likely survive) this season not just for personal reasons but also for the jiggery pokery in the owner selling the assets to himself at inflated market values. They got lucky, Sheff Wed didn't. Have a soft spot for Sheff Wed though, so I hope they stay up and Derby go down.

Ex Swindon players Isgrove and Doyle both scoring for Bolton who've had 65% possession and more shots.  Unfortunately they are currently losing 6 - 3.

Scott Twine with a lovely assist, deftly headed down for Pádraig Amond in their victory for Newport...

It appears we're just under four weeks away from finding out if the lad can cut it at the next level (and for Town). Definitely no harm in giving him a run out here during Jan. If his progress continues in a positive way, keep him here. If it's not so great, let his development for the season continue at Newport.

Also scores in the shoot out, that should secure his January loan move to Salford

Cardiff captain Sean Morrison went from zero to hero - scoring an own goal after 25mins and giving away a penalty (which was saved). He then grabbed the winner as The Bluebirds beat Stoke 2-1 at the Britannia Stadium

Yates and Anderson on target for Blackpool tonight.

How we would love those two back here, absolutely superb last season.

Not sure Anderson would look much kop in this side, but you'd have three Yates' up front.
