In all the excitement of yesterday it appears to have slipped by unnoticed that Scott Twine's Newport whooped everybody's favourite lower league team, Salford, 3-0. He didn't, sadly, score, but did win a penalty from which they did.

I hope he refused Wellens handshake and called him a cunt.

I watched the interviews with Wellens and Flynn after the match. Wellens said he thought his team played well at times and that the ref was poor throughout. Flynn said Newport totally outplayed them and should have won 7-0. Salford didn't have a single shot on target. Wink

Must admit, as you said, I missed that one, nice to see he's doing well but we don't want him getting too settled,  we may need him back in January.

Surprised he hasn't been recalled as we have an injury crisis...

Apparently it is mentioned in my paper that if John Terry is offered the Derby job then he is looking at Luke Williams being his assistant.

Oh excellent. Don't often enjoy seeing teams get relegated but this would be a joy.. My second most disliked club signing "supercoach" Lukewarm and the best mate "wife shagger" (Derby have a track record here so the cap fits).
