Someone on one of the FB pages suggest that Swindons share of the fee is only £900k.

So that would basically mean that he was transfered for £3m when he had been touted as a £10m to £15m player only a few weeks ago.

Surely thats not right he was the higher valued player out of the 2 players so even if it was split 60/40 then that would mean a fee for Bogle in excess of £9m giving us a percentage of nearer £3m?

£900k for Swindon would mean he went for £4.5m.
The percentage is 20% if you believe BBC journalist Chris Wise (formerly of the Adver)

I'd imagine it matters little, this ones for the investors, is it not?  Certainly think Mr Michael Standing-Barry will be sniffing around given he's been shafted once already.

I thought I read that in the Youth Development charter from the EFL that it was a standard 30% sell on fee set by the league not the club individually?

Whatever the fee received, you can be pretty damn sure if LP is not happy the phone to his lawyers would have already been picked up.

It depends if it’s for Standing/Barry or for Power. If it’s Standing/Barry, it’s dead money, albeit if that’s what it took to convince them to invest originally, then it’s not as if we’ve not benefitted. If it is going directly to Power, then it enables him to invest more in the club. Again, if this is what it takes to have him prop the club up, that’s the price we pay. His debt is ours etc etc.

I think the sale of Bogle is in part the reason for the Woolery delay (as in us re-signing him/meeting wage demand/compromise) because we'd have fucked him off and got someone else now and there's not a lot else that adds up, as it's not like RW to dilly dally.

But also, several are missing the point that this Bogle sale was also meant to be a trigger for the US buyer of Town. Maybe Wellens has been told by Power/Jewell/whoever to wait a little while as they all got wind of the Bogle sale going through. Possible the Bogle fee doesn't matter so much (as in who it goes to and where, although it would be nice to have an idea) because maybe the real investment is ready to come in from the US Investor, might even be the reason why the Norwood move is back on the cards.

None of us know for sure  but it certainly has given us something to talk about.

As for Derby signing Byrne...Byrne is good  but he's not the type of player Derby should be signing, their targets should be much higher (that's no discredit to Byrne, just his level is mid to lower Champ, Derby should be looking to sign players that are Premier League or very top end Champ players) and Byrne just isn't that level. Not if Derby aspire to get out of the Championship.

Bit like Blackpool, signing players good enough for the division but not necessarily good enough to get out of it.

It’s a £2m bid that’s been turned down, according to EFL Hub.  Silly money!

The Barry/Standing deal or no deal was in 2013. Given Bogle is 20 now and went to Derby as a 16 year old in 2016 so it wasn't that deal but more general transfer profits.

More likely is that Tactics Tim offered Lee Power Luongo and Byrne on the cheap in 2013 on the basis they weren't good enough to break into Spurs 1st team but a year or two at League 1level would be enough to make a profit.

The Bogle/Lowe deal sounds like lots of add ons to bring up. Some reports said £3M basic and £4.5M add ons each which comes up to the £15M reported by Sky. From Sheffield Utd perspective they have two wingbacks playing well so this is a longer term punt.

Of course that could be weighted towards the Lowe deal but assuming Bogle is the brighter prospect Derby would want or more likely to receive the add ons from him and we get a cut of the future monies.

Although some transfers are undisclosed surely there has to be some transparency if lawyers get involved and ask to see the finer details when representing their client

Undisclosed doesn't mean the lawyers can't see the details if needed. It just means the fees aren't made public; the finer details are rarely if ever made public whether the fee is disclosed or not

Based on that information I would imagine Power will get a tidy sum
