Although Charlie was clearly in the wrong place at the wrong time... I harbour no grudges against him, rather the management that put him in that situation.

We're still doing it, and hopefully it will end with Wellens and Jewell, but Steven Alzate was another, despite what many on here said, you'll not get out of Div 4, putting all your eggs into that sort of basket.

Carroll is much more the sort of thing needed, if we are to still rely on loans, and given that Wellens has said he doesn't want to, but around half the side are loan players, we must assume pragmatisim on his part.

Yes, pragmatic in the sense that he inherited some of them and he took the others with a view to signing them permanently or, as he has stated, because in the January transfer window he had no other option. Still, I suppose pragmatism is an improvement on incoherent......

Former loanee Paul Mitchell wanted by Man Utd, Chelsea and Arsenal as technical director. He’s currently at RB Lepzig in a recruitment role.

Well we should find out in the summer.  In order to build a squad ready to fight for autos in 19/20, we are going to need a core of our own players, preferably through the spine, with a perhaps 2 or 3 loans. It is possible to see in what we look to have for next season contracts permitting for a decent mid table core, but we need to strengthen in numbers particularly up front.

Not an ex player, but he did play against Hoddle. Interesting story though. I remember him for PV.

Yeah, he's dropped down to the bench in recent weeks.

It was crazy essential for Torquay to go up, Woking were sparring with them for a good while.

Vigoroux can fuck off. If he was half as good as he thinks he is, he’d be twice as good as he actually is
