Quote
Neil Ruddock admits his horror tackle on Andy Cole, which broke both of the former Manchester United striker’s legs, was a tad strong – but he loved it all the same.

The defender played for United’s great rivals, Liverpool between 1993 and 1998 and won the League Cup with the Premier League club in 1995.

And speaking to talkSPORT in 2010, the man nicknamed ‘Razor’, revealed he relished facing Cole.

Seems like both were in 2010 then.

Sorry, I missed that. So Talksport dug up a 2010 interview to play on 2018 Halowe'en, that started a Twitter debate, that the BBC reported on.

Nice to see a clip of some legendary ex-players here, including my personal all-time favourite, Kenny Stroud:

BBC reporting is shocking so no surprise there.

He's pretty conflicting in his view of "handshakes". Saying it's fine for him not to shake a refs hand but it wasn't ok for Sheringham not to shake his? Double standards much. Maybe Sheringham had other things on his mind that day and wasn't interested in Cole's debut.

In short though, who cares. That a long time to hold a very fucking trivial grudge.

I piss mysf reading  this shit, who does Andy (sorry Andrew) think he is?!
Shit at football and he would be in Kwik fit.

I was waiting for someone to post that. I think he is also realising some anger/frustration on not being first choice and hardly playing.
