Yes, especially considering that the last time Timlin played for us, we were where we are now.

MT came on loan in Div 4, and then signed on a permanent when we got promoted.... his last game was in Div 3.

Crewe at home August 2011?
Then managed to upset PDC & banished to Essex.

I want an attacking midfielder with energy, not another old side passer. Got enough of them.

That's right.  Think Sturrock might have been in situ, collecting ex Town players.... when PB got them up several were still left.  Barry Corr managed about 30 something games scoring 15 or 16

Although Cheltnum more often than not beat us, they've never finished above us.  That is one of those little signifiers about where we are, it needs to stay that way.

I’m pretty certain they bypassed us on our slide into div 4 at the end of 05/06, and spent a season above us before we returned to div 3.

In which case it should be qualified by when we've played them in a season.

I seem to remember Timlin spending the summer of 2011 promoting the new Di Canio era only to be, as we know, bombed out after one game.

One of Bert’s Babes, Cliff Jackson, has died. Bit before my time but I presume a few on here saw him play.

David Ball misses a penalty at Wembley.

Michael Smith up front for Rotherham alongside Ball.

I think Reg is right on this one. If we can’t beat off the likes of Mansfield for the services of a bog standard L2 CB it does show up just where we are in the scheme of things right now.

Mansfield, ffs. Living the dream, eh Matt.
