I’m off to Porto next weekend. Is it worth going to see Branco play for Boavista? I miss his throw-ins.

He's doing very well there apparently.

I noticed Darnell Furlong is doing well at QPR as well. Maybe last years players were fine and it was the ethos and the coaching thereof that was utter shite.

That was always my view, tbh.

I've always maintained that players are not necessarily as bad as they are playing. It's something that rather a lot of people seem short-sighted to, despite it being a common phenomenon that players 'improve' (or 'worsen') under different managers.

Many are crediting Brown with Dunne's improvement. I'm wondering if Dunne was that bad a player to begin with.

I think Dunne’s improvement is down to Brown playing a 442 as opposed to playing in a 3. He has a simple job, and he is doing it well.

Yes, though it should be pointed out his early away performances were OK wern't they?

That said he was poor second half v Yeovil (and v Exeter), maybe its just the new manager bounce Smiley

Or maybe he's just a slightly above average League 2 midfielder who is limited, tries hard and sometimes plays well, sometimes doesn't.
