Not quite an ex town player but one we were heavily linked with. Ryan Kent joins Bristol City on loan. Hate to say it but that is the right fit for him at this moment in time. Would've loved to have had him here for even a couple of months. Didn't he go to Coventry on loan in the end?

I thought their fans opinion of loan players is that it is a form of cheating?

Ty Belford signs for Supermarine

Started well, 0-5 home to mighty Bideford.

Moot point as to which Belford is playing at the higher level, Ty with not-so-Supermarine, Cameron with Stranraer.

Ex Swindon loanee Amarii Bell sings for Blackburn from Fleetwood for 300k.....never really rated him when he was on loan to us.

A bit inconsistent during his time with us, but in his first game away at Barnsley gave one of the most assured performances from a loanee debutant that I've seen.

Thought he would have been an ideal player for Cooper Power to sign, after release from Brum, given the model at the time.

Power must be kicking himself at the thought of missing out on 300K. Someone thought BOO a better bet.

Tbf, Bell was shit when he was with us. He's come on leaps & bounds since. I hate being reminded about BOO. Woeful footballer.

On a similar note, his son Markus has just been drafted to Seattle Sounders in the MLS. I think he may have been born in Swindon

He was indeed born in Swindon and is the spitting image of his dad, plays centre back, I was shocked to see hes 24 already! doesn't feel that long since Jan played for us.
