I think that's a bit of a shame tbh. He didn't work in our side at the time he was here but then who did? He's clearly much better than that level.

I think the matter of more concern for him is that whilst he has certain ability and the added bonus of his old man being manager of a comparatively big club (still the reason I suspect we took him in the first place) no club is prepared to take a flyer on him so there must be  a reason why no one is biting be it attitude or ability?

Yes, good point. Certainly doesn't look like a healthy trajectory does it?

And a coward. You can't play centre mid without even attempting a tackle from time to time.

Apart from a decent free kick - totally useless. If there was one thing above any others, and there are many, that I couldn't stand about him was his arrogance. If he hit a crap pass, just stand there looking at the nearest player as though they were unworthy of sharing the same pitch. To put it into context though and to our shame he was not stand out crap.

I’d say it probably is his level, he can hit a decent dead ball and that is it. It takes more than that to sustain a professional career.  Alan O’Brian ended up at Hungerford for a similar reason as all he had was a bit of pace and it wasn’t enough to make up for his lack of ability.

Quite possibly THE worst midfielder I have ever seen in a Swindon shirt, can't pass, refuses to head a ball or tackle an opponent, can't pass a ball more than 5 yards in any direction other than backwards, took a couple of good free kicks.

How the hell he played in 79 first team games for us is beyond me.

He makes Pook look like a world beater, he has found his level.

Rodgers was better ability wise than Pook IMO. Pook, for his faults, at least looked like he gave a shit.

Great on the dead ball...but couldn't tackle or run and berrated other players when usually it was him who fucked up.

Wish Anton well but he was lucky to get as many games as he did for us.
