Rumours on Orient's board that Embleton may get their Head Coach job, as well as having some deals already tied up for ex-Swindon players.
That rumour would have had me particularly optimistic had it been last January

I had to check my recollection wasn't wrong, looking at around 1:22:30 onwards on the below, it wasn't a post! Did well to clear the second ball with his head though!

I recall he won man of the match but only wanted the ice bucket after the game?

Loved the commentary, as Mildenhall finally resumed playing:

- they've removed his jewellery
- eh?
- from around his neck

Bit of an interview between Tactics and the Birmingham Mail

'DOF role?

I wasn’t there, to be perfectly honest, I was helping my friend out. When you go and try and put a few deals together you have to have a title. That Director of Football role is different at every football club you go to so it depends how the club want to implement it. For me, it was just to go and help out a friend who I’ve know for 25 years and try and put a few deals together for his football club. It’s a good club and I hope they bounce back.'

Pants on fire!

I wonder if his description of his involvement would have been different if we had avoided the drop....

I imagine he played under Flitcroft at Bury.

Would love to see him back here permanently.

'A. Trialist' would be my guess.

Very random. I think Nicky would be our first Cypriot cap, past or present. I had hopes for Nicky Nicolau, but he disappointed.

When I read that Reg I immediately thought of Wayne O'Sullivan, alas he was capped for ROI U21s but never for his 'native' Cyprus.  One day we'll get there...

Nope, neither of NA's spells coincided with Flickers being in charge at Bury. DF took over in December 2013 and Ajose departed in May 2013 from there.

NA would be a class above everything else in L2, highly doubt he would sign for us in that league though even if let go by Charlton.

New externally appointed manager, new transfer policy.

I imagine the days of the usual names (Ajose, Gladwin, Doughty) are over.

Although, granted, being in L2 would have been a factor in that...
