The PDC era feels like a long time ago.

I wish he wasn't the go-to name for some as our next manager. It's over, winning was great, let it go.

People will also need to forget the notion that we can expect to bounce straight back up, just because we did the last two times. The model as now seen is more likely to be an abject failure, unless very significant changes are made.....given that it should have been reasonably easy to avoid the drop by making those changes, there's no reason to think anything different will happen in the summer.

I don't think many people will be assuming that this time, Reg.

Enjoyed that.

I do wish people would stop mentioning him as a potential replacement to Williams, he's not ducking coming back and there are some some examples in that article.

(most of the mentioning is on that Facebook group)

It's also worth noting that 2017 is also the fourth anniversary of Di Canio's managerial career being (seemingly) finished.

Recently a work colleague who knows Kate Cady told me a few stories from that era. Goodness me.

Not sure about that... deep down everyone feels we were a Div 3 club. It's going to be very difficult to adjust to the fact that is now history. Very difficult indeed.

Charlie Austin done  for driving without due car and attention in his Bentley when he collided with a cyclist = who had cycled through a red light into the path of the Bentley!!!  Cyclist fined £30 for cycling through red light, appears Charlie has to go on a driver awareness course to avoid a court appearance!!!  Something not quite right there in my opinion.  Article also stated he earns £55,000 a week at Saints!

The Sun article said he left the bloke in a critical condition at the roadside, then later on it states he stayed to help until emergency services arrived. The way the headline was written made it look like it was a hit and run! Gutter press.
