Kayden Jackson signs for Barnsley on a two year deal
Played for England C and scored too a couple of months ago.

He seems to have come on well since leaving us.

Barnsley have signed 3 players since the end of the season. Two non leagues and one from Barnet (which may as well be non league). Not often you have teams in the PO's signing anyone, but seems to be a change in stance from Barnsley looking down the pecking order.

That is quite unusual, completing a number of new signings for next season without actually knowing which division you will be playing in.

If they go up they'll more than likely be loaned, stay down and they'll be in the squad.

Apparently Sunderland are looking at Flint, with a possible player exchange for some fullback that was on loan at City this season

There is a very interesting (for me) bit on Barnsley's scouting in non-league here  http://www.thenonleaguefootballpaper.com/latest-news/conference-premier-step-one/16035/david-preece-theres-gold-to-be-found-in-the-non-league-mines/. They use numbo-jumbo apparently.

But then I find scouting interesting. Which is why I wrote about what Sam Jewell does all day. https://thewashbag.com/2016/05/26/swindon-transfers-targets-rumours/ And it isn't spellcheck his LinkedIn profile.

I'm led to believe that our yellow friends are in talks with a certain Mr Cox.

Be nice if someone did. Proofing your own work is tricky and Wordpress certainly doesn't help as it has a nasty habit of resetting the cursor to a random point after each autosave.

Fair enough.  But he'd be odds on to score against us in both games next season.  Which is probably why they're looking at him.

Hearing Scott Lindsey the U18 coach has joined Coops at FGR along with Steve Hale.

They also wanted the physio but wages were stumbling block.
