Not strictly one of ours, more Supermarine, but I noticed Wayne Hatswell is currently asst manager/coach at Newport.

I liked Wayne....classic comedy own goal, at FGR, then classic comedy stint at Oxford, who paid £35K for his services to aid their slide back to non league.

Never mention Hatswell's own goal without sharing. He joined Oxford a matter of weeks after that goal, which indeed caused much amusement at the time. However, it's harsh to attribute dearest Wayne to their Non-League slide as he left a couple of owners, managers and 4 years before their loving relegation in to the amateurs.

 Cheesy

I think Wayne did invaluable preparatory work....he could of course repeat the dose, and do a Martin Ling, as I believe Oxford's potential latest final game as a league club is at Rodney Parade.

Still makes me laugh that Lee Steele, an ex Oxford player scored the goal that sent them down

Special mention to Craig Easton for scoring the first aswell, that first season he was here he was fucking quality.

Saw this yesterday on the BBC, I think he deserves a chance at a bigger club with better service, then he will score 25+ a season.

Bound to be a getout clause in his contract if QPR are relegated. Where ends up depends on who is prepared to splash the dash.

He will almost certainly leave them if and when they are relegated but I don't see Charlie with his history of medical problems being that much of a draw for any of the top 10 sides in the Premier League.

Shame because the guy is the best finisher I have ever seen in the box and witha  good service and better players around him will only get better.

Big career decision lies ahead for him.

Agree.  Id love to see him get a chance with Arsenal or someone like that who produces the chances.  Give the chances and he will put them away.  But I fear he's going to spend his prem career playing for mid / lower table teams and wont get the chances.

Palace would be a good team to join; the likes of Bolasie and Zaha would create a lot of chances for him. I'd rather see him join them than someone like Arsenal where he's likely to sit on the bench.
