Cant believe nobody has mentioned Fola Onibuje

Played as a triallist for Chester FC this week (and scored). I think he's on club 27 now...

2 more for Charlie Austin today.

Please someone reassure me there is a sell on clause in that deal waiting for us!

Thats good, did you see Austins goals?..........he is looking the real deal now,two brilliant finishes with the usual Austin celebrations.
Looking forward to seeing him Tuesday though i reckon he could be on the bench.

Well it seems the Burnley fans have finally taken to Charlie.

This bloke is on the way to becoming a Claret legend. Whatever happens to Eddie Howe, he will always deserve credit for signbing Charlie Austin.

I think a few of Howe's signings have been really poor, but he is going to end up far in credit when he leaves Burnley on the basis that I can see us getting £8m+ for Austin - without a doubt the best finisher we have had since Payts

£1m for Austin was an absolute joke of a deal - I can only pray we didn't insert a sell on clause for Swindon.

I can smell pound notes , £7.5 m of them in January !!

He is a class act. The best striker I think I've seen at Burnley

If our defence can stop him turning in the box then we have a chance! McCormack will need to keep him in his pocket.

Interesting link, thanks.

One of the posts states that £1m was a steal - hopefully there is a good sell on clause as there is mention of £7-8m. in January.

A number of posts bear out Charlie's poacher's instinct with his positioning and gambling in the box exceptional and they say his all round play is improving.  Last striker of note exported to Burnley (though he eventually ended up in midfield there) was one Peter Noble of 69 vintage.

If Tuesday were the Johnstone's I'd be happy to see Charlie add to his price tag but our best chances are that, like Walters and Crouch, he stays on the bench and that we score more

It’s been posted on here before, but I am sure we've a hefty sell on for Charlie haven't we?
