Gary Alexander has signed on loan to crawley, the deal will become permanent in the summer.

Good signing for them. They need these loans to work out quickly before they drop any further.

Not an ex player, but saw Phil Smith this morning taking his son to pre-school which is next to my son's primary school.  As we walked past, my son recognised him and loudly said 'There's Phil Smith'  and  I said 'Yes it is'.  He obviously heard and gave us a smile, whilst my son started a discussion about why he no longer plays anymore and that Wes Foderingham is better! I hope we were far enough away at that point for him not to hear that part of the conversation!

"Steve Evans has tonight completed a sensational piece of transfer business by signing striker Leon Clarke from League 1 leaders Charlton Athletic until the end of the season."

"Everyone knows there is plenty of competition but I relish the challenge."

Now Leon, relishing a challenge is not something anyone could accuse you of...

At least Clarke will know that he is unlikely to be sent on a ten mile run with Evans...

I know this isn't going to be popular but I think he could do well for them, given their hoofball.

He is a prize cunt though.

Dear Charlton,

Thank you for Paul Benson, and for taking Leon Clarke of our hands.

By the way, we did warn you he was lazy !!

Just in case anyone is remotely interested, there was an interview with Vincent Pericard in the Sun yesterday where he talks about depression and quitting football!!

Maybe he should not have moved to England for the money then?
