A non town fan mate watched us a few years back, and until recently he kept going on about how shit Flint was(must have had a particularly bad game). After the Man Yoo game he asked if it was the same player because he couldn't believe it.

The better Flint gets the more chance of a large sell fee on when he moves to a bigger club.

Sure this has been discussed, but has it ever been disclosed what it would be? Was he a sale under Power as if it was under any of the various fuck wits (I love the way the spellchecker tries to change that to Kiwifruits!) we had prior to that I wouldn't expect much more than a packet of Bourbons?

I am pretty sure Power arranged the deal before he took full control and has said that there is indeed a sell on fee but never discussed the size, although he did say it was substantial, and thats when the transfer fee mentioned was only about 3m during an interview pre season.

Thats pretty sizeable TBH. We sold him for 300k and the newspaper rumours are 10m+ then we (Power) would be due a windfall of 1.9m.

I can imagine that social media will be a fun old place it we/Power gets in c.2m on the back of a Flint sale....

Internet will explode if we don't immediate spend the income and more on new players...

I hadn't looked at it like that but yes it would be technically if it beats the 4m from Luongo and Gladwin then it will be. that would mean Flint going for 20m though and I think thats pushing it a little. Even though they have lumped Gladwin and Luongo into a single sale.

They are making tee shirts now about how they "nearly" beat Man City, they will erect a Flint statue outside the Fred Wedlock stand Wink

Bless their little cotton socks.

34 goals in 187 game for a CB is incredible. That's a better ratio than full England international  strikers Darius Vassell and Emile Heskey

It isnt bad at all if you compare it to Shaun Taylor who got 33 goals for us in 233 games.

Not true unfortunately about goal ratios though unfortunately.

Flint scores one goal every 6.6 matches (5.5 while at Shitty), Heskey was 1 goal every 4.8 games and Vassell 1 goal every 5.3 games through their whole professional careers.
