I'd take Ajose in a heart beat. The guy can score goals - and we don't have a goalscorer in our team currently.

Damn right. He scored goals for fun in the league above. If we got him for the season, we should work the team around him.

How many clubs has he had since we signed him?! Becoming a journeyman already. Shame really, he was decent in the playoff season.

Only Barnsley on loan, Northampton on loan and Pompey before his signing on a free for Bury but that does make 11 teams in total inc loan spells, quite a lot for a 25 year old.

Flint has created a slightly awkward relationship with an already overly knee-jerky fanbase.

This should be in the "trivial things that make you smile" section.

Not really, haven't we lost out on a packet of Jaffa cakes as our sell on?

There is still January....it means an uncomfortable 5 months in Bristol for Flint. Cheesy

It'll only be uncomfortable if he makes costly mistakes. Lots of them are celebrating the fact he's still there without considering the fact that he was unsettled to the point that Lee Johnson wasn't playing him and had, essentially, replaced him.

Flint must have been scouted extensively in the last two years so there must be a reason that clubs aren't willing to spend £5 million (which isn't bad within the current market).

His overall ability is still considerably suspect but 2014-15 and 'no, no, no' has made him invincible to some.

Possibly because he's quite thick?

I don't think intelligence is a trait that scouts tend to look for in players. Unless you're suggesting he's dim even by footballers standards, but that would make him only borderline sentient.
