Perhaps Mr Power is considering making us part time?

The Jones story is out. At least the Adver waited until after we were relegated though it was pretty heavy rumour.

First thought was "twat", but without knowing the circumstances...he might have been the victim Wink

Ugh.

Was this arrest something everyone secretly knew apart from me?

Sorry, didn't mean not to mention it sooner on purpose. It was a heavy rumour on that group and I know TEF and here don't mix so probably subconsciously let it be.

In the interests of a rumournasty, I heard the ground at the golf club physically isn't up to taking football pitches and needs a fair bit of work and money on them to bring them up to scratch.

Heaven knows what the issue is (if true). First thought was clay, but surely the golf club wouldn't have worked if that were the case!

This Jones story was known by nearly every body and this club is now taking us for idiots. This should have been reported straight away explaining he was on gardening leave. It is clear the players have no respect for Williams and with what has gone on this season it is obvious discipline is at an all time low.We need a leader and a manager who commands respect and can instil in our players how lucky they are. This is something that was overlooked when taking on such a young squad!

Genuine question though, if crowds were really to drop so significantly, surely in order for the club to remain sustainable, we would have to continue to rely on youngsters, loans or a lower calibre of player?

So a continuation of this season then but at a lower level?

Am sure I heard/read that this season's budget was a large one. May have been on a power hour  Hmmm

If that's the dross we get on a large budget  Suicide

a) We've only got Power's word for the relative size of the budget compared to the rest of the League
b) Having a large budget only does you any good if you spend it well. Or if your backer(s) is sufficiently wealthy that when you waste it on dross, you can go back to him/them and ask for more and keep throwing money at it until you do hit upon a reasonable squad.

The lack of discipline at the club is absolutely shocking.

Phwoar have you seen the size of our budget!

The approach that successfully extracted us from the 4th division previously, sadly I don't think Power has the financial clout to buy 3-4 teams of players until it gels?

Jones has gone back to Liverpool. one down...

Interesting timing. assume he is either injured or they kept him around as cover regardless of how serious his alleged fracas was.

But it's not how big it is, it's what you do with it Smiley

Probably because he is in court today, which, I assume, is when it becomes public and reported in local newspapers.

Almost hope that none of the loan players are selected on Saturday. Would we have enough players to form a team?

In theory...

Vigoroux, Barry/Boo, Thompson, Branco, Conroy, Kasim, Rogers, Thomas, Goddard, Norris, Obika,

I think we might need to play the loanees looking at that midfield in particular.

If you also didn't want to play anyone out of contract you'd seriously struggle.
