I liked Leitch.

That game where he fought his own team mate (Mark Robinson?) was a highlight

McMahon's dream midfield of Bulock, Collins and Leitch only ever played a handful ogf games together, due to injury, suspension etc.

PV is right though, Leitch would easily get into our current side and improve it.  WB is also right to lament the demise of the Scottish player at STFC. We particularly lack any sort of aggression all over the park.

id pay double the entrance fee just for bullock, collins and leitch to have one more game together and then take over training to teach some of our players on the art of the knee high challenge

Yes, liked him as a player.
Remember one 50-50 with Spencer Prior v Man City where the city player ends up on his backside after a 360 shaking his head and with a broad grin on his face.

The days when at least one Scotsman was thought to be essential in every league team are long gone.
Possibly because they are not very good. Although there must be another Caddis or Ferry out there for teams prepared to have a look North of the border.

Darren Bullock was part of an attempt to build a team with farmyard animal connections, which failed with just a Cowe and err a Leitch.
His debut v Brum was memorable for the Marlon Broomes 35 yard rocket, a player whose career maybe didn't build on early promise.

I remember that 50/50. Absolutely nailed him. The crowd loved it, right in front of the Nationwide as it probably was then. Prior must have had a foot & about 4 stone on Collins aswell.

Himself aside, surely the ideal fourth man would have been Dean Hooper. To this day I've still no idea why McMahon signed him.

Bobby Barnes's real name was David. Bobby Howe's real name was Stephen. Weird eh?

Ernie Hunt's real name was Roger.

Coincidentally like Leitch formerly of Swindon Town and Motherwell.

For entirely irrational reasons I have always hoped he would end up as manager here at some stage, but managing in China now https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Meizhou_Hakka_F.C. so unlikley we can match what they will be paying him?

You mean the same Louis Thompson that has signed a new 2.5 year (with a year option) contract at Norwich only a couple of weeks ago? the one that could never match up to Henshall? Cheesy

For this that may have missed it or forgotten here is the Twitter post about Louis Thomson from Henshall Smiley thanks for bringing it up again Horlock07

Caddis available on a free from Birmingham according to Chris Wise on Twitter. Maybe Caddis doesn't see eye to eye with Italians.
