I really fucking hated bullock. I may be alone here but I thought he was just a useless obnoxious cunt like an earlier version of gurney

Not on your own. I remember being excited when we signed him, then I saw him play shortly after. I don't think he bought anything to the team bar antagonism. He wouldn't get into a league side these days.

Nathan Byrne on his way to unnamed League One club. Apparently Charlton.

To be fair though he must be in his late 40s now.

Fair point.

He's definitely going to a League One club.

It's rumoured to be Charlton. Although Sheff Utd seem in the mix too.

You are not on your own at all, I hated him, a nasty piece of work on and off the pitch with no talent other than for upsetting people and kicking them.

Lee Collins?

Yes, liked him as a player.
Remember one 50-50 with Spencer Prior v Man City where the city player ends up on his backside after a 360 shaking his head and with a broad grin on his face.

The days when at least one Scotsman was thought to be essential in every league team are long gone.
Possibly because they are not very good. Although there must be another Caddis or Ferry out there for teams prepared to have a look North of the border.

Darren Bullock was part of an attempt to build a team with farmyard animal connections, which failed with just a Cowe and err a Leitch.
His debut v Brum was memorable for the Marlon Broomes 35 yard rocket, a player whose career maybe didn't build on early promise.

Thought Leitch was over rated personally.
Plenty of Cruyff turns and the ability to dink the ball towards nobody in particular.

Then again don't have many fond memories of the late McMahon era.

IIRC Scotty Leitch had one good season, not sure which but it could have been his last with us and 3 rubbish seasons.

Never really rated him myself, lots of running around and silly bookings.

Still miles better than any midfielder we have now mind you.
