Ricky Shakes and Luke Garrard of Boreham Wood were promoted to the National League today.

Hopefully they'll have to travel to Bristol Rovers next season (along with Bromley and Guiseley).

See they were beaten to 1st by Bromley containing Jamie Slabber and the almost STFC Adam Birchall.

Think Michael Timlin is going to have a bit of a headache in the morning.

Just got absolutely battered in a head on collision with a stevenage player, who is staying on!

Very, very nasty. And he looked like he didn't even want any treatment. He's tougher than he looks.

And Big Bad Barry is waging war single handedly on the Stevenage defence. It's a brutal game, it even looked like 56 year old Dave Beasant might have had to come on just now when the Stevenage keeper took a bang on the head.

I can't figure out whether I didn't know about that or whether I did know but had forgotten about it  Hmmm

Great strike from Parrett and another goal for BBB. I thought he was just about done when he left us with that recurring shoulder injury, fair play to him. 15 stitches for Timlin, that's going to hurt like a bastard in the morning - probably hurts now to be fair

The game's calmed down a lot 2nd half, still quite entertaining though.
