Paynter in dispute with Carlisle over extra training for fringe players (like him):

30 now, time flies doesn't it?

Christ was he only 23 when he came here, I got it in my head that he was late 20's?

It probably wouldn't be that hard to come up with a Town XI whose careers reached an absolute peak with us and then disappeared off the the face of the earth.

To Brez and Paynter, I will add...Sam Parkin

Simon Cox, is still well short of his goals total for us after 5 and half years elsewhere....OK he's played at a higher level, played International football and probably earned sufficient to set himself up for life....

Miguel Commingues.

It's a little known fact that the Minge, played his last game in England at the CG for Stevenage in April 13.....5 years and not many games after his good 2/3rds of a season won him the Adver PotY in 08.

Oooooh....what's his name...staying on the 'dreds' theme...somebody Edwards. Had a few decent games round about when Roy Evans was manager. Winger. Went to Wrexham and then dropped off the map.

That's it thanks - I knew he had some weird, way out first name....

So...

Brezovan in goal

Commingues at the back somewhere

Paynter, Finney, Parkin up front

Edwards out wide. Very attack minded so far....

Edit: Forgot Foley in midfield.

How about Bobby Howe.

How long did the 'Bobby Howe's Sexy Football' era last? About 20 minutes on a Tuesday night at Vale Park I think? That was probably as good as it got for him I would have thought?
