See Charlie Austin could be out for the rest of the season after breaking a bone in his foot.

Nice away day at QPR next season!

Wrong.

@chazaustin9: Scan done. Delighted to say I've NOT broken a bone in my foot! Hopefully back in a week or two! http://t.co/uRnzLEfx4H

Great to see @chazaustin9 is off the life support and is now getting his nail varnish re-applied... #bigtart #bruise

I wonder if we'll ever find out what happened with him.

I don't reckon he fancied it. Nothing more sinister than that.

I'm inclined to agree.

Don't want to come over all ITK (again) but someone I know went golfing with KMac's brother (are you following?) and he said he apparently recognised he wasn't cut out to be a manager. Yes, not earth-shattering I know.

He has more clubs than a playing card factory. He is still a cunt though.

I would like to take issue with this, not with you personally jutty but the fact that most people's default reaction to the name Leon Clarke is 'oooh, he's a cunt'.

What exactly is this based on? As far as I am aware, it is related to his (in)famous spat with Di Canio after the Southampton Cup game.

Again as far as I am aware, this is what happened...

The players are coming off after the game and the fitness coach marches on and starts having a go at Clarke because he thinks his fitness is not up to scratch. The great peace maker of our time Paolo Di Canio then gets involved and not surprisingly things go from bad to worse and from that point on Clarke is history.

To me, the way to address this would have been to take the player to one side before or after training and had a private chat about the issue and how to resolve it. The worst thing to have done was to march on to the pitch and start berating him in front of team mates, opponents and x thousand fans. This was highly unprofessional and not too many people would react positively to that.

Maybe that is not exactly how it happened but if it is, then the cunt in that sorry episode is the fitness coach, not Clarke. Perhaps I'm missing something - was there something else he did or said to warrant 'cunt' status?
