"Barnet FC hopes that this statement of fact will end speculation about the player on the internet."

Yeah, good luck with that.

Also liked this one from the Barnet forum

"what a waste. the drugs for crossing were obviously too high up, on the top shelf"

At least it means he won't be scoring next week to deny us a trip to Wembley.

The 24-year-old had been linked with a move away from Underhill this January with West Ham United, Portsmouth and Leeds United all believed to be interested in the winger.

This is more shocking to me than the failed drug test, He was awful in both games so far agaisnt us.

not quite an ex-player but I didn't realise Leon Knight was commuting to NI to play games:

"Knight signed for the Bannsiders in October 2010 but the club said earlier this month that they would not continue to pay his travel costs from London to Northern Ireland for matches.

The club asked the much-travelled striker to live in Northern Ireland or pay his own travel costs."

Franchise have released winger Anthony McNamee by mutual consent. The 28-year-old made had just eight appearances since signing from Norwich in the summer.

Nice club Coleraine. Spoke to their chairman in the summer and he was bending over backwards to accomodate Knight. This was after the player tried to get a move and failed.
