It must be down to Boltons style of play as you don't just lose the preditory instinct that he has and maybe he will get more chances once Isgrove gets into his rhythm
Doyle was the same at Bradford, he couldnt buy a goal there either, you have to play to his strenghts, they obviously arent.

Playing Doyle up front with Delfouneso must be the slowest ever strike force.  Doh

Agreed Bradords style was too direct for him and maybe Boltons is similar

Doyle had 25 touches of the ball, here's where.

So pretty much the opposite of where his touches (opposition half that is) would have been for us last season.

He is just not that type of player, I don't know why Bolton are playing him like Bradford did and not utilising him like we did. Perhaps it shows how good Wellens is at utilising players properly.

For example, when Swindon played Port Vale a few seasons ago, Anthony Grant was in midfield for them and was slow, plodding and pretty anonymous. For us, he is part of our engine room. Wellens is gold.

Evatt was supposed to be some sort of non league Guardiola. I’d guess he’s got the forward players, skimped on the defenders and underestimated L2 opposition.

So far, Blackpool appear to be just what a few thought they’d be. An expensively put together team with players from L2 that are struggling to cut it in L1.

Harrogate seem to be doing well, though.

Something I thought of this morning was being able to 'favourite' particular threads to be able to log on and have a personalised feed of threads that are of greatest interest to members.  I don't know if this can already be done and it's something I've missed, I also have no idea if it is possible on the platform on which the forum runs and have no idea how much work it may take if even possible.  I know the front page more or less serves a similar function anyway.

Yes I know what you mean that would be very good, I am sure that almost all posters the first threads they look at are Matchday or Transfer rumours and then the rest in some form of order.
