If you were looking to put a speculative fiver on a team in our league, which would you pick?
A club you, supposedly, know something about - STFC at 28/1
Or a club you know nothing about - Blackpool - at 16/1
Only after a reaction

That appears to be your view, yes. I just have a hunch that, sod's law, they will do well. Any bet on any team will largely be based on a hunch. I may place a separate bet on STFC but I don't have an informed view on whether they will secure promotion.

Where has this idea where Blackpool fans are any more fickle than any other fans come from...
Ahh you misinterpreted me slightly. I said "... all fickle in footy (mostly true) but fragile at Lytham..." The fickleness is accurate in that if they start well and then started to capitulate Jan/Feb due to no wriggle in transfer strategy, then fans would get restless (applies to most clubs). The fragility was not in their fans being more or less fickle than others. It was in their previous/current ownership where the fragility was directed and that it wouldn't take much because of the whole Oyston shenanigans.

He's had injury nightmares. Yeah he may end up elsewhere, but he may as well see out his contract.

Danny Ward back to Huddersfield.
Fixed After all this time ey. Kind of right back where it all started (properly) for him. Really did think we would sign him permanently back then. Decent winger him.

I'm sure this has been posted before but I've only just got round to watching it. Even if it has, it's well worth a 'bump' as I'm sure there are others who will have missed it.
Some absolutely brilliant Di Canio stories from Ferry, Ritchie and Foderingham plus Peter Grant and Steven Fletcher...
