My thoughts too on that. Especially when the manager that bought you couldn't take the pressure when the chips were down and fucked off.

unwanted attention.

I was trying to phrase it without saying "hit". As far as I know no charges were pressed and the rumour was never substantiated.

Something went on around the time of the rumours though, IIRC he was dropped (can't fine the evidence of that).

He was being touted as close to retirement too. Maybe that was being exaggerated by the club. I have doubts on that being the case, simply because he played like he wasn't 100% a lot of the time.

Oh and the fan boo'ing

I heard there was an altercation between Norris and Anderson over each others WAGs but I thought it was more on a bitchy level than unwanted attention. Chinese whispers and all that.

That’s not even the half of it...

Maybe it was but there are those who walk amongst us who are completely in the dark. So without causing any legal issues, how about highlighting the circumstances? Pretty please 😁

What can he mean

Lancashire explained: “It was a difficult two years (at Swindon). I went down there with the aim of getting promoted after the club had been relegated from League One, but it ended up being a long two years.

“My wife and kids still lived up around this area so I was down there on my own, and it was a place where it was difficult to build any sort of momentum with the sort of things that went on down there.

Regardless of what went on, our esteemed former captain could have chosen to keep his gob shut and retain a bit of dignity.

Another 2 year disaster which our old friend "Flitters" imposed upon us. Probably the only thing in Lancashire's favour is that he wasn't quite as disastrous as Robertson. Although there wasn't much between them.
