My Scouse mates brother is a Tranmere fan and he recons Sid nelson has turned down a contract but that they are in advanced talks with Ajose.

I would welcome both or either back but I think with Baudry signing that we won't now pursue Nelson. and certainly not if Conroy does sign.

Heard a rumour he did have a contract offer , however due to him not player or training with us for a month or 2 was asked to come in a couple of weeks early for fitness.......he refused

the contract was withdrawn.................dont know how true

but would makes sense as he hasnt been announced as signing yet

After what he said in previously he had loads of clubs chasing him...

If you've not done already, the Loathed Strangers Podcast with Bessone is well worth a listen, he talks a fair bit about this as well as his time at Barca and obviously Swindon

Not an ex player but Steve Hale takes over at Exeter City as goalkeeping coach.

Adebayo joins Walsall.

He'll be really good for them. For a few games.

He's quick, technically good, can win headers and run in behind. He's got all the tools," said Clarke.

Really?

At times he can be quick, just not with the ball at his  feet.....sorry thats all I agree with.

He's not slow, but wouldn't have put him in the quick bracket. He was also quite poor in the air for a bit man.

Maybe we didn't utilise him as well as we could.

Wrong use of the word quite, the word you are thinking of is "extremely". Cheesy

If hes given a proper run up front, rather than being farmed around a front three, and in front of an even vaguely supportive crowd (which is heavily lacking at the county ground), hell be a decent player at this level

Just not sure how many seasons it'll take.
